It all started in the small town of Lamar, Arkansas. My grandfather Billy McGuire, started his own logging company after receiving his severance pay from closing several short wood sawmills. A company that he had worked for over 25 years. At this point, my grandmother Joyce McGuire was worried about not having a sure source of income, but she believed in her husband. Shortly after, my father Duane McGuire graduated high school, he began logging full time with my grandfather as well. Together with hard work and tenacity, they were able to buy bigger and better equipment to grow their business. My father and mother Lorie McGuire being high school sweethearts soon began building their own home a year before I was born. As the years passed and the company grew, I learned the ins and outs of the logging business. During that time I developed a variety of skills such as welding, electrical, mechanics, and carpentry. While logging became my career I was inspired to reach for more opportunities where I created the film production company under the name REELIVERSE™. Having worked with many well-known artists across the states creating music videos, I became intrigued with not only the people of the southern states but also their way of life and how closely it related to mine. Then, the name Southern Reject™ came to mind. With the way the world is transitioning, there are others out there that don't exactly agree with how REAL southerners live. I feel there's no real brand for hard-working blue-collar people that not only provides quality products but also at an affordable price. That being said, I hope you enjoy our products and the message we bring not only to separate you from the crowd but also to unite people with like-minded morals, values and traditions.
